GET CLUED UP get clued up is a series of monthly events that incorporate music fantastic short films and people's experiences to encourage people to get clued up about important issues affecting our every day lives... we hope to provide people with information and inspiration in a fun and interesting way that is accessible to many people, not just current activists... we hope to help break the activist stereotype and make knowledge and the power to fight for your rights available to everyone... we hope to take the events to different parts of manchester to make it more accessible to different members of the manchester community...yet most of our events will take place in the city centre. GET CLUED UP BOUT FOOD download flyer to print here Do Summat's Saturday Club are putting together a month of stuff around food including an information night where people can learn more about the food industry and also about groups they can get involved with. The information event is taking place on Tuesday 28th March at The Basement, 24 Lever Street manchester at 7pm.There will be speakers, workshops, short films and food. Speakers include Glebelands Market Garden, Unicorn, Food Directory, manchester animal protection, and many more.Plus short independent films to amuse and inspire including 'cows with guns' and 'store wars' Everyone is welcome but please be aware that unfortunately the venue we are using has entrance only via a flight of stairs we also have some other events happening around food this month: Saturday 18th
